I feel like Oprah saying this, but hey she’s not the only one.
These are a few of my favorite things.
You know what I mean, you have your favorite sweatshirt, shoes, purses, food- basically everything.
Everywhere I go, I am always asked “Where did you get that _______?” I don’t consider myself to be on the cutting edge of what’s trendy but I do like quality and great prices.
I guess you can say shopping is a sport for me, I love it and so does my family. We enjoy going from store to store trying to find the best items at the best prices.
While I love going out shopping, online shopping is my second favorite thing. Supporting small local businesses is always my first choice, it may not always be the most economical but I know that my business is appreciated and is actually putting food on someone’s table.
When I can’t shop small- Amazon is my next go to. Why?
I am sharing my favorite Amazon finds. I love the subscribe and save option for a lot of my staples for the house- like shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, detergent and anything heavy that I don’t want to haul 5 stories up. Makes my life so much easier, or should I say it makes my husband’s life easier since he’s the heavy lifter in the family.
And you get a discount. You have to stay on top of it though the prices can change, they will send you a reminder email so you need to click through to make sure you are ok with the prices. If you aren’t you can skip that month or cancel it all together and then find it for a cheaper price and resubscribe.
A Few of favorite things are in no particular order, enjoy.
As you can see, there are just a few things that help me with the crazy life of a boss. Meaning professionally and personally, I have learned it’s all about the balance.
While some might wonder why a Dazzle stick would help me professionally, it doesn’t- it just makes me feel good when my jewelry is sparkling.
It’s part of my self-care routine, as women we don’t normally take care of ourselves first, it can be a difficult transition. It took me practicing it regularly, and not feeling selfish about taking care of myself first. While not easy, with practice it can become a routine that I highly recommend.
